PRESENTATION: Food Preservation – This Saturday, Sept 14th

foodPreservationHey gang! I’m leading a free program on food preservation at the Bells Bend Park Outdoor Center this Saturday the 14th from 10-11am (or longer?). Some of you may already pickle/can/ferment/dehydrate your food, but I figured that it was up most everyone’s alley and worth mentioning. Basically, it will be a pretty informal program with a powerpoint slideshow, food preservation equipment and resources, preserved foods on display, etc. It’ll be a chance for you to get started preserving food, learn little tips and helpful hints, avoid common mistakes, etc. Bring questions and feel free to share your own experiences as well.
