WORKSHOP: Starting a Food Manufacturing Business in Tennessee

If you are interested in making jams, fruit butters, baked goods, pickles, salsas, chow chows, sauces, or other processed food items, this workshop is for you. This workshop from the Center for Profitable Agriculture will help farmers understand what it takes to evaluate, develop and market a food manufacturing business in Tennessee. Topics discussed will include business planning, food manufacturing regulations, food safety, marketing, financing, risk management, and business and sales tax. (This program does not cover food service regulations for catering, food trucks or restaurants.)

Session 1: May 18 and 25; June 1 and 8 at 7:30-9:30 pm Eastern
Session 2: August 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 12 – 2 pm Eastern
