WORKSHOP: Fermentation Workshop with Sandor Katz – Nov 4th, 2017

Don’t miss Sandor Katz, the fermentation guru himself, with Jeff Poppen, the Barefoot Farmer, for a full day of fermentation.

Pick your vegetables as you tour one of the largest and oldest organic farms in TN, then make your fermented project under the direction and supervision of Katz and Poppen. Take it home and enjoy the good food and knowlege to use for the rest of your eating life!

SCHEDULE
9am: Arrive
10am: Farm Tour, pick your own vegetables
12pm: POTLUCK LUNCH
1pm: Workshop with Sandor Katz, then make your own kimchi to take home!
3pm: Q & A

Please bring:
– Cutting board
– Knife
– fermentation vessel (jar, crock, etc)
– anything you would want in your kimchi other than the greens from the farm (i.e. ginger, hot pepper, garlic, etc.)
